Orchard House Garden Centre

Plants, Pots & Proper Tea Since 1988

About Orchard House

Orchard House Garden Centre was founded in 1988 by the Hollis family on the site of an old apple orchard just outside Marden, from which we take our name. What started as a single polytunnel selling bedding plants has grown, over more than two decades, into a full garden centre with a plant nursery, tool shop, gift corner and our much-loved Tea Room.

We remain proudly independent and family run. Three generations of the same family have worked behind the till, and many of our staff have been with us for over ten years — so whoever you speak to, you're likely getting advice from someone who has grown plants themselves for a long time.

We pride ourselves on sourcing as much stock as we can from growers within the county, and on knowing our customers and their gardens by name.
